Air
Source
Air source heat pumps work by transferring heat absorbed from the
outside air to an indoor space such as an office, home or a building
Ideal for highly rated, energy
efficient buildings, when correctly
specified air source is a fantastic
method of heating a space,
absorbing heat from the outside
air and using it to power radiators,
underfloor heating systems,
convectors or hot water
They can work in sub-zero
temperatures, are simple to install,
don’t require continuous deliveries
of fuel and they can create income
for your business as part of the
Renewable Heat Incentive scheme.
As with biomass systems, air
source installations are relatively
new to the UK. They also have
their associated nuances, so they
require expert planning from
knowledgeable engineers and
consultants, such as ourselves.
